Yes Green Sand

an explanation for the green sand of the Green Sand Beach on the Big Island is simple: olivine. perhaps needless to say, I’m not so sure about a visit there currently, with Kilauea as active as it is right now (as of May 23, 2018). altho as far as i know, other than airborne issues, the beach is still intact, because the fissures and lava flows currently are further east on the Big Island, and run down along the shore there, a ways away from the most southern point of the USA—which is where Green Sand Beach is. as is, this means that once Kīlauea calms down a bit (hopefully possible within a few months) there will come a time when the Green Sand Beach will again be a cool destination, with appropriate cautions.
