As a result of  comments and replies regarding haiku and senryu in the comments area of a post on Charlotte Digregorio’s writer’s blog (here) I will be looking in new ways as to how I pair haiku and image vs senryu and image to create haiga. This may be evident in the coming days or not, however I will be taking it into account with my haiga. I like this learning process that goes on and on. Way fun and thank you to Charlotte.

As a side note: I write my haiku beneath the haiga as well only because I know on some devices the image itself may be small, making the haiku difficult to read.

Haiga is haiku placed within an image as a balanced component of the composition.
