Day 15: Today, I challenge you to write a poem that addresses itself or some aspect of its self (and in this case for me again: visual poetry).
April was NaPoWriMo (National—which includes International—Writing Poetry Month), however the prompts remain in place. The prompt posts are informative and revealing. Resources and samplings are often linked in the post. And the prompts which can be explored any time. . . . are sure to ripple your thought process about poetry as well as widen your wow Here: NaPoWriMO.
In April at a rough count in a couple of places I wrote 83 haiku, in addition to the NaPoWriMo prompts I was able to get to in that month. Although I am not posting all of these haiku or other things I’ve been doing recently I am still working daily. At some point I believe i will get back to posting more regularly. Thank you to all of you who continue to view my work here. I appreciate that you continue to come even when I am posting less.
For those interested in the state of the Frameless Sky Journal, it is nearing completion and will most likely be available sometime in the next few weeks. I’ve seen sneak states of it and I am impressed with the writing, music and the way it is being pulled together via the editor Christine L. Villa. I hope you enjoy all of it along with the photographs I contributed for this issue.
