Crowded ~ #006 January 2014 – Haiga/Haibun
Then the Light
off on a long walk. the first few blocks are the same neighbors of course. each time it seems I notice something for the first time that has often been there all along. or sometimes it’s been there for a while at least. within a few houses I notice the orchids.
orchids can last once the blossoms pop for a month or two. this isn’t the first time I’ve noticed these orchids. it’s not even the first time I’ve thought about photographing them. it’s the timing and light that catches my eye. I know I want these shots. both cameras. click. click. click.
