My response to the Lens and Pens by Sally blog Phoneography Challenge, the Phone as Your Lens: 2013 December 16—Black and White. For the third Monday of each month the theme is Black and White.

This is the lamp post near my front door. Recently I’ve been taking a number of photos with it for one reason or another. The photo in this haiga was shot on Friday or Saturday if I remember right. Sunday my area (and island) was under flash flood warnings accompanied by hard peels of thunder and ear splitting rain fall.
