A variation I like because it becomes a puzzle that intrigues me, the more I think about it the more I wonder what that one word is:
one word
under the dry moon
bamboo shoots
My response to prompt #217, Takenoko (bamboo shoots) for the Carpe Diem June 2013 prompts, which are centered around traditional “kigo” or “season words” for summer.
June on Carpe Diem has been divided into three different seasons of traditional summer kigo: Early Summer, Mid Summer and Late Summer. Takenoko (bamboo shoots) is an Early Summer kigo. The informative prompt and responses to this prompt can be found on the Carpe Diem Blog.
You are invited to respond to these prompts as well.
