Although Hawaii is relatively warm year round, there are times in the winter months and even spring when I wear a jacket, or at least something more than a t-shirt to view the moon. When viewing the moon in a t-shirt becomes pleasant, I know summer has arrived.
My response to prompt #211, Koromogae (changing or switching clothes) for the Carpe Diem ~ June 2013 prompts, which are centered around traditional “kigo” or “season words” for summer.
June on Carpe Diem has been divided up into three different seasons of traditional summer kigo: Early Summer, Mid Summer and Late Summer. Koromogae (changing or switching clothes) is an Early Summer kigo. The informative prompt and responses to this prompt can be found on the Carpe Diem Blog.
You are invited to respond to these prompts as well.
