Prompt Specials in April on Carpe Diem center around haiku by Chevrefeuille.
My mother passed away in 2006. I still go to the cemetery where she was cremated as I find a lot of comfort walking in the beauty there. One day visiting and walking, I was under a yellow or golden shower tree as the wind picked up and the rain began to come down. During the entire shower the yellow petals fell as thick as a snow storm until there was a broad golden blanket around my feet. It was a very special visit and I occasionally draw the image and return in my memory.
