The September 21 Prompt: A World of Peace

Some Thoughts: – If you’ve created three or four or more haiga for this 30 Days of Haiga (okay, even two), take a look at what you’ve done as a group.  If possible look at them all together – that is put them up on your screen so you can see them all at the same time.

There is a power that is gained this way.  It’s easy to see what is working within the group this way too – as well as what you might want to change in your work or tweak – to improve in your continued works.  I wouldn’t go back and change anything in what you have already completed (unless you really want to…).  I think there is more to be gained by doing a new one after considering what you’ve done as a group.

So now, what if in the last 10 days you were able to double what you have already finished in September this far? … okay, if you’ve done one a day – just do 10 more.  I know for most of us doing one a day is a challenge. Doing one a day is the goal but you win by doing what you can do. One or thirty – do what you can do and keep going from there.

Cool on every haiga you have worked on (finished or not) for this month. That of course is the right direction – imo. Fun it up now. We are on that last stretch of the month and an exciting change over of season too. Now is the time to step it up if at all possible. … and if not possible – then just do what you can do – that is all you ever have to do. …and fun on, of course.

The next few 30 Days of Haiga Prompts:

  • 22. Autumn/Spring Beginnings
  • 23. Apple Days
  • 24. Dogs and/or Cats
  • 25. Banned Books

You are invited to play in the September: 30 Days of Haiga at any time.  Here’s how:

  1. Post your September haiga to your blog.
  2. Bring the URL of your post (rather than the URL for your blog) to the 19 Planets blog.
  3. Click on the Mister Linky Widget button below for the day of your haiga and add your link to the list.
  4. Take a look at what others on the list are doing.

30 Days of Haiga is for fun, experience and learning. The more haiga you do the easier it becomes to think in the way of haiga (imo). Post haiga you create this month once a day or as often as possible (every day is not required).

People who create haiga can be found by clicking on the Mister Linky button.

Mister Linky is easy. A new list is started each day. Place a comment on the 19 Planets blog when you add your link to Mister Linky so I will know and can come see your haiga – Mahalo (thank you).  Aloha.
