Haiga ~ Haiku with Altered Photograph

Anoles are sometimes confused with geckos although they are quite different in a number of ways.  Usually I find anoles outside and geckos inside although both at times are in either place.  Anole toes are usually more tapered and pointed where gecko toes are more rounded.  Anoles have the ability to adapt their coloration to simulate their surrounding environment.  As I understand it, the anole in this photograph is female.
