Looking for this or that or something or other, I was rummaging through one of my infamous piles of things and came across this little work.  It caught me off guard and I saw it fresh as if having never seen it.  I liked it.  What fun I thought. What a great place to be I thought.

Evidently in 2006 I was doing some things like this.  Of course I will probably do things like this some more too – although I never really know.

I like when something I’ve forgotten shows up and surprises me into seeing it this way.  Of course I especially like it when I like what I see.

The thing is I’m often too close to something when I first work on it to judge it with an objective fair eye.  I may be able to sense whether I’ll like it or not but that’s not the same thing as re-discovering it fresh and new and finding that I do things I like.

Sometimes it takes me a while to know what I think or even exactly how I feel about something.
