Haiga: Silent Night* in Digital Ink

Haiga with Digital Ink

Digital Ink

  • 8 x 8 Inches @300 dpi

  • Corel Painter Essentials 4

  • Adobe Photoshop Elements 6

  • Wacom Cintiq 12wx

Playing with brushes with Corel Painter Essentials 4 lead me to a point where I wanted to experiment with what I’m here calling Digital Ink.  The above Haiga is one of the first works in this way.  I had thought I’d post it in December because of the subject connections of course – yes, even in December I have to mow the yard were I live. . .

In reading MLA’s Red Dragonfly Blog and her Haikuverse No. 2 (#9),  I encountered Marlene Mountain’s Ink Writings.  As a result I decided to heck with December, I should have posted already.  bwahahahahaha. Life. . . May be I will call these Digital Ink Haiga – Ink-ku. bwahahahahahaha. Fun.

Haiga with Digital Ink - Revised

One of the advantages with Digital Work is the ability to alter and revise.  At this point I prefer this version. Do you have a preference?
