My response to the prompt “green” for Michael Dylan Welch and his NaHaiWriMo (National Haiku Writing Month ~ February 2013). The event is centered on Facebook. Each day a new NaHaiWriMo prompt can be found on Facebook in the comments: (t)here.
Etegami ~ words (which can be, but do not have to be haiku) and drawing (with or without color) intended to be sent between friends through a postal service, often as a postcard.
Be fun—Write Haiku – Aloha

Your pots are just gorgeous
Even though we are approaching autumn, it is still a good time here in the sub-tropics to be planting seeds and seedlings (and I intend to do just that) – one of the benefits of a mild winter.
aloha Gabrielle – thank you. yeah, sub-tropics and semi-tropics are good on plants. there are some things i like to plant as autumn rolls around too. way cool on your seeds and seedling efforts. hands on. and fun in the dirt on you. aloha.
It’s about time to start some of the plants indoors for spring garden planting. We do that every year. I like your “spring in a pot!”
aloha Fergiemoto – yeah, i’ve been plopping seeds and seedlings here and there into the ground and pots lately too. it’s a great time for that here as well. growing things make spring worth the season of winter. . . . have fun in your indoor gardening. aloha.
you’re making it quite difficult for me to decide which postcards to order…
aloha Angie – yeah, i’ve been thinking about that choice. maybe i should suggest on that postcard page that people go together in their selections and then swap with each other 4 for 4 of the selections they choose. . . . this is becoming way too fun. bwahahahaha. aloha.
