My response to the prompt “vegetables” for Michael Dylan Welch and his NaHaiWriMo (National Haiku Writing Month ~ February 2013) event on Facebook. The prompts can be found here in the comments.
Etegami ~ words (which can be, but do not have to be haiku) and drawing intended to be sent between friends through a postal service, often as a postcard.
Be fun—Write Haiku – Aloha

haha! This is sure a lot of fun. I envy those who can sketch too!
aloha Knot2Share. yeah. it is fun indeed. learning to draw is just like everything else. it takes the time of practice and daily helps a lot. the trick is to allow yourself to draw the way you have fun drawing. then build on that in fun explorations just to see what happens when you add and try more things with and in your own hand. the more you do that, the more fun it is, the more you’ll like drawing and the more you’ll want to draw. that eventually leads to the real way you enjoy drawing—which will be like no other being can ever do. and that is way fun to go after.
cool on fun. do it. and write on too. aloha.
Another clever one, Rick! Bell peppers = chime = ha ha, I get it! By the way, I’m not sure if I told you, but I got an iPad a few months back and got the Zen Brush and Art Studio apps, along with a few others. Your art inspired me to get those. I also bought “Paper by 53′ and really like that app, too.
mahalo and aloha Fergiemoto. yeah. fun. i had to do it. the bells made me.
i dont remember you telling me that you had an iPad. cool on that. it’s fun, yes.
yeah, i’m using those two apps a lot for NaHaiWriMo—or my version of it. which i’m doing as etegami-like work.
yeah, i’d like to try Paper by 53. i have some peculiar issues. one i have not updated my iPad and it’s a 4. something version. Paper by 53 will only work on 5.0+ so i havnt been able to try it. i’d like to tho. i’ve seen others working with it and i like what can be done.
when i get my new computer (one day, some day), i may be able to update my iPad too. i cant know because i cant connect to my computer (the OS is too old). blah blah blah etc.
i’m still having fun with the iPad tho. and my computer too.
thanks for mentioning the Apps too. i like hearing what people i know think about Apps they try. especially Art apps. fun. aloha.
I like your play with the words “chime” and “bell peppers” – very clever! Next prompt is “rice” I have not cooked mine yet!
aloha Asni – yeah, i couldnt resist that play. . . . thank you.
cool. i’m onto rice. i may cook mine tonight. fun. aloha.
