Aloha, Rick! This is wonderful. Lovely balance in the composition, perfect texture and color and well matched haiku.
aloha LInda – thank you. i’m looking forward to getting back into actual paint and paper this year. in the mean time i’m still having fun with this digital process and it’s good to know a visual artists appreciates the texture and color in this work too. haiku and matching it up to create haiga is of course and always on going process – just like watercolor. i think that’s why it may appeal to me because the process altho different tracks in similar ways. i like that. fun on. aloha.
