aloha Margaret – oh, no apology necessary – i’ve had a very difficult time getting to other blogs for several months now. life sometimes takes over, i know. no worries. you are always welcome when every you have time.
hahahaha – yeah, i had fun with the February ku/haiga and NaHaiWriMo. i dont have a facebook account or i would have posted some there on the site. i noticed a number of people who did who i recognized. but i couldnt comment without an account either.
and… as a result of you and Alegria – you both encouraged me to submit some of my work to places that publish – i’ve started sending a few off now and then. yeah, it was a treat to be accepted in A Hundred Gourds. seeing your work there was a big thrill too – both haiga and haiku – wow. you write some awesome ku and create great haiga. . way fun. aloha.
The colors in this piece are so subtle. It gives me a calm, quiet feeling. Very beautiful.
